While all of our candles are made with high quality, natural ingredients, only our Lotion Line is suitable for skin application. The rest of our candle lines are highly scented and not recommended for skin application per the FDA requirements. Our Lotion Candles contain only skin safe amounts of fragrance.

Lotion candles arent something that you hear a lot about and why that is I dont know because they are really spectacular! A Green Candle Companys Lotion Candles are very rich and soothing so a little bit goes a long way. Always make sure to keep your wick trimmed to 1/4 inch for best results.

A Green Candle Companys Lotion Candles are so simple to use! All you have to do is light your lotion candle and allow it to melt and form a pool. When there is enough of a pool formed for your liking, EXTINGUISH the flame. Apply the lotion sparingly to your cuticles, elbows, knees and any other dry areas of skin. Use what is needed and the rest will re-solidify for future uses. You can also use these lotion candles for massages. You just need to allow a larger pool to form.

You can also use our Lotion Candles without burning them. Just scoop a small amount out of the tin and massage it into your skin. Its a quick and easy way to enjoy the same perks from melting the candle without the wait time from burning the candle.

Allergies/Sensitivities

Many people who have allergies should check with their physician or allergist before use. We only use the highest quality of premium soy bean wax, but an allergy is an allergy, so please be safe in using our product.

A Green Candle Companys Lotion Line only contains the FDA approved amount of fragrance for topical use. DO NOT attempt to apply other candles throughout your home to your skin as their levels of fragrance are too high. We very strongly advise that you test our Lotion Candle on a small area of skin to make sure there are no allergic reactions to the fragrances. If you do not notice a reaction, apply to the rest of your body and enjoy!

Safety Information

First and foremost NEVER place your fingers, hair or other body parts directly into any candle while burning! Keep the burning candle away from anything flammable, children and pets. As sweet smelling as they are, all candles can become a dangerous hazard if left unattended. To insure flawless usage from your candle, keep it away from drafts and always keep your wick trimmed to inch.

We also positively advocate that you DO NOT use our Lotion Candles on your face. The skin on your face is more sensitive than any other part of your body and an unwanted reaction could result. Should you decide to use our Lotion Candles on your face anyway, test a small area and watch for a reaction and definitely keep it away from your eyes! Again, our Lotion Candles are produced for usage on your body, not your face.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

A candle that you purchase from a store to scent your entire room thoroughly contains far more than FDA approved amounts of fragrance for bath and body products and could be very unsafe for use on your skin. Please only use Lotion Candles for your skin, not highly fragrant candles.
